About this role:
Simply put, this role is a consultative SaaS sales hunter role.
Our Sr. AEs/Sales Managers are individual contributors who sell professional services and SaaS licenses to large enterprise organizations. Starting with finding new prospective clients, landing new logos, and expanding client accounts.
Our ideal candidate is a salesperson who is talented and strategic in effectively hunting for new business and has a personable, consultative approach to cultivating client relationships and closing deals. You will thrive if you have experience selling to large enterprise companies and yet thrive within the hands-on culture of a smaller sales-centric company.
This is a fully remote opportunity, supporting our US operations based in Miami, Florida. The assigned region will be determined based on a candidate's experience and location. This role is open to applicants based anywhere in the continental United States.
In this role, you can expect to:
Own the full-cycle sales and enjoy the thrill of the client journey from prospect to a close-won deal!
Partner with the Customer Success team to secure renewals and nurture client relationships to expand account revenue
Identify and qualify leads, generate new business opportunities, and create targeted sales campaigns to maximize pipeline creation
Implement best practices to maintain a healthy sales funnel and forecasting accuracy
Ensure an accurate and up-to-date CRM (Salesforce)
Leverage sales engagement technology, including but not limited to SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Be responsible for achieving or exceeding revenue quota and monthly sales targets
Creatively problem-solve to create customized quotes, lead negotiations, and drive urgency to close deals
- Provide consultation to prospective clients;
Each member of the sales team is a product expert. They confer with potential clients regarding their communication needs, advise on products and services to purchase, and consult on customized solutions
Build rapport and connections both internally and externally; work effectively cross-functionally to meet performance objectives and exceed client expectations
As needed, travel within an assigned territory to conduct client meetings or attend conferences, coordinating promotional activities to market products and services
Contribute to team projects that develop our sales process
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 4-5+ years of experience in a full-cycle sales role with a proven track record of generating revenue and exceeding annual quotas
Experience Selling technology, SaaS solutions, e-learning, or Learning and Development solutions preferred
Experience selling to complex enterprise companies preferred
Experience closing deals within a shorter sales cycle (our team's sales cycle averages ~45-60 days to close)
- Demonstrated ability to be diligent, self-motivated, and organized to work intricate sales cycles efficiently
Understand that timing is everything; the sales cycle for our products can vary. Some prospects are ready to buy right away, others need more time
Our Sales reps drive urgency by uncovering clients' business needs to articulate ROI and the costs of inaction
Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders, construct a tangible business case, and move the sales process forward with decision-makers and influencers at all levels of an organization
A high sense of urgency, excellent time management, and the capability to work independently (yet collaboratively) and effectively in a fully remote setting
Ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced work environment, have an agile working style, positive attitude, and professional demeanor, open to adopting evolving simpleshow practices and technology
Prior knowledge of Salesforce (or another CRM), SalesLoft, and other sales technology: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.
Strong computer skills, proficiency in Google Workspace, and aptitude for learning new tech

Our hiring process:
We have structured our Interview process to mirror the Sales process. This allows you to showcase your sales skills while we get to know you as a person and a sales professional. Along the way, you’ll learn more about simpleshow, our teams, and the details of this opportunity.
As we are a remote-first company, our recruitment process is also entirely remote, utilizing video conferencing (Zoom or Google Meet).
- Prescreen: ~15 mins Phone Call - quickly screen and confirm alignment
- If all goes well, we'd set up a follow-up video interview
- Initial Interview: ~30-45 minutes: Video Meeting
- Dive deeper to gain an understanding of your sales process, motivation, and overall alignment with the role and company.
- RSD Interview ~30-45 minutes: Video Meeting
- Meet with one of our Sales team leads to better understand your sales skills, approach, etc.
- Mock Pitch / Interview: ~60 minutes: Video Meeting
- Skills Assessment - Roleplay of a mock pitch/demo + Interview with VP of Sales
- At this stage, we’ll set you up with an Enterprise license of simpleshow video maker to become acquainted with the software and prepare for the pitch (more details will be shared if candidates reach this stage)
- The gist of the role-play will be to see first-hand your sales style, consultative approach, and ability to close a deal.
- If all goes well, we proceed to a reference check and offer stage.
Our targeted Base Salary Range for this position is $80,000 - 110,000. Additionally, compensation for sales roles includes a commission/bonus structure. Various factors determine compensation and a starting salary could fall outside this range. Actual salaries will vary depending on, but not limited to, experience, specialized skills, internal alignment, and working location. This range is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
