simpleshow, the global market leader for explainer videos, is looking for a Business Development Representative to support the top of the funnel sales process. Our ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and will fuel our sales pipeline to aid us in our continued sales growth within Fortune 500 corporate clients.
About the job:
In this role, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for handling sourced leads, prospecting, and nurturing leads into new client accounts. You will develop our sales pipeline by identifying rising business opportunities and building what will become long-term relationships with prospects to continue company growth, increase revenue, and improve profits.

This role is an ideal role for emerging sales professionals who have a desire to elevate their career in SaaS Sales.
This is a fully remote opportunity, supporting our US operations based in Miami, Florida. This role is open to applicants based anywhere in the United States.
In this role, you can expect to:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted outbound and inbound campaigns using telephone, email, and the web - you’ll be able to build creative outbound campaigns and iterate to find what is most effective
Support the Sales Managers and broader sales team, within an assigned territory by conducting a high volume of prospecting for open leads (our BDRs aren’t shy about picking up the phone)
Become a product expert and partner with Sales Managers to consult the best-customized solutions to meet prospective customers’ communication needs
Build rapport and work effectively with a robust cross-functional team to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
Clients experience multiple contacts in their journey with us, so it is in our DNA to work together across Project Management, Creative, Customer Success, Operations, and Sales departments
Work effectively in a fully remote setting; all of your colleagues are only a video call away, but your daily commute will be to your home office
Enjoy the thrill of hunting and prospecting and a “do-whatever-it-takes” mentality
You are a good fit if you are/have:
A strong business and sales acumen, positive attitude and are an approachable, professional relationship builder ready to make an impact
1-2+ years of experience as a top performer in a quota-carrying role
Understand that timing is everything; there is no standard sales cycle for our products - some prospects are ready to buy right away, others need more time
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable meeting with clients on video calls, over the phone, and in-person
An agile working style, open to adopting evolving simpleshow practices and technology - you sell it and we will deliver it with the utmost customer service and client satisfaction!
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Management, or another related field (relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree)
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and other word processing tools; prior knowledge of SalesForce or another CRM is preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills
